Fire Extinguishers

The type of fire extinguishers supplied by KRP Services are manufactured to the highest standard in the UK. They are approved to BS EN3 and carry the British Standard Kitemark - your guarantee of quality.

All types fire extinguishers are designed to be user friendly as well as effective, including squeeze grip operation, controllable discharge, colour coded block to help operators identify the fire extinguisher type, clear screen printed instructions.

Colour Coding:

A change back in 1996 to the British Standard BS 7863 has seen a change to the style of colour coding on extinguishers. instead of a solid colour to the extinguishers body to identify the type of Extinguisher it is you have a block of colour that is placed above the operating instructions, the colour coding is red for water, cream for foam, blue for dry powder, black for CO2 and yellow for a wet chemical extinguisher.

Fire Extinguisher Maintenance & Servicing:

Regular maintenance is essential with safety products such as fire extinguishers. British Standard Code of Practice BS 5306 Part 3 recommends that your fire extinguishers are serviced annually to ensure that they will always function in an emergency. To add peace of mind all extinguishers are serviced by our fully qualified engineers.
